You will need to add the individual as a leader in each group for them to take attendance. 

With parent/guardian oversight, parents and guardians of children in your group will be able to see/react and comment on all group content. However, they will not be able to create new content in their children's groups (posts, events, photos etc). Note-This parent oversight option is only available if it is first enabled in the Ministry Area (it is enabled by default).

Once you confirm that this is enabled in the Ministry Area, you can follow these instructions:

1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Connect. Then click Groups.

As far as parents needing to add their children, the "Find Group" and "Request to Join" features are designed to allow the person that is logged in to Find and Request to Join a group.
