I am a nerd that loves Jesus and technology! If you looked at my family tree, it is full of pastors. I also call myself husband to the most beautiful woman and father to two amazing children (and I suppose father to 2 dogs and 2 cats). I have worked at ACS Technologies for nearly 4 years as a Sales Engineer, keeping the Sales Team informed and trained on new products and enhancements. I've recently joined the MinistrySmart Team as a Ministry Learning Specialist and am very excited to be working with our churches beyond the "sale" and help them to have the greatest impact on their communities.

In our ongoing attempts to connect with and change lives, gathering data is important. For example, collecting blood type seems intrusive, but if you had a local blood bank that needed specific donors, you could use that to contact individuals in your congregations who meet a need in your community.
Share a time in your ministry, where you could see the change that gathering data in your church database has made.
Thank you to those that were in our live audience for our two Ministry Impact Webinars titled Ministry and Mental Health (Part 1 and 2). We had amazing crowd participation, sharing encouragement and asking great questions. If you were not able to attend, the recordings are live inside of MinistrySmart Academy. We've had a number of you say that you will be sharing the recording links with your team members that may have missed the live event. That has been very encouraging for @Scott Fischer and I to hear.
Our hope is to bring more subject matter experts into our live webinars in the future. I extend request that if you have a pastor or someone on staff that either has a word to share with other ministries or may have some amazing successes while using Realm, we'd love the opportunity to talk with them about possibly helping us lead upcoming live webinars.
Thank you again for those that attended and those of you that will watch our recordings. To find them in MinistrySmart Academy, please follow the "Upcoming Live Events" icon on the right side of this page. You can then search mental health in the search box to find both part 1 and part 2 of those sessions.
We pray that you and your ministry teams have a blessed weekend and that your services are spirit filled.
We've gained a ton of new members in the MinistrySmart Community in 2022 so far! We'd love it if you took a moment and created a post to introduce yourself in Introduce Yourself!
Welcome everyone!! We are excited to see this community grow even more this year and for you all to have even more ministry partners to network and collaborate with.
As we start to wind down 2021 and prepare for the new year, I'd love to reflect back on the last year, and first of all, thank you for your hard work. Ministry is difficult and our processes have been challenged more these last 2 years than ever before. You all are rockstars and truly growing the Kingdom.
Looking back at 2021, what was one favorite thing in Realm that you couldn't have lived without, new or old?

I'm excited at how this community has grown since it first launched and how it continues to grow. The more ministries we involve in this community the more I think we have a way to band together for the Gospel, network with others in our position, and solve some great challenges. Great questions are asked all the time and awesome ideas and answers are submitted by our community members. I'm especially encouraged by how flexible you all have been through continuing to serve your own local community over the last 2 years and continue to keep your heads up and focused on the mission of the "Big C" Church.
Two questions have been on my mind lately...
What are some new skills you've learned or new ministry initiatives that your church or parish have implemented in the last 2 years that have made a positive impact in your community?
What are some successes, small or large, that you feel encouraged to share with the group?
This doesn't have to have anything to do with Realm.
PS - Are there things that you think we need in this community or ideas that may elevate your experience? Feel free to send me a Direct Message any time. :)
